Der Aussichtspunkt Santa Maria Maddalena dei Piani auf 1334m Höhe bietet einen weiten Blick über die Bergwelt rund um Cervinia. Von hier aus sind markante Gipfel wie der Monte Gregorio (1955m) und die Cima Biolley (1986m) gut zu erkennen. Auch La Cima (1707m), Le Colme (1653m) und der Monte Cavallaria (1478m) prägen das umliegende Panorama. Der Standort ermöglicht eine gute Orientierung in der vielseitigen Gebirgslandschaft des Aostatals.
